Well, we've had two kids: Henry (4) and Charlie (19 months).
Henry is battling a cold, which will keep him from Joy School tomorrow. A group of moms and I got together to host a type of preschool in our homes once a week for our 3-4 year old kids. He loves it and HATES to miss it. He is on a waiting list to attend a neat preschool near our house that incorporates music into the curriculum. He is my early bird that likes to rise between 5:00 and 5:30 am. A true test of my sanity. He constantly wraps "presents" for me with his blankets and cowboy ropes and loves cuddling right after his nap. He builds farms and corrals with ropes - and now !shoes! and puts on rodeos and races. Aside from Charlie King-Konging through his games, he is very happy to play with his little brother.
Charlie is climbing every thing. If he's not on the dining table, he is on the coffee table. If he is not cuddling on the couch with his beloved blanket, he is screaming by his bedroom door demanding entrance to get his blanket. If he is not throwing food off of his high chair, he is chucking his sippie cup on the floor. If he is not knocking on the back door hoping to escape, he is saying night-night while he takes himself up to bed. This boy gives us a run for our money. He isn't speaking English yet, but jabbers all the time. We are thinking his vocab will sprout this summer.
Jack is 5 and acts like a grandpa. He is our yellow lab purchased from a random dude outside a Walmart. He is our best buddy and we don't know what we'd do without him. He is currently on a cocktail of joint supplements to try to ease some of the discomfort he is obviously experiencing. Slowly, but surely we are seeing our spazz-tic puppy returning to his usual self.
Chris has finished his second airplane and is trying to complete the first 40 solo hours so we can take a maiden voyage to Solvang. He also plans to start brewing again - Hannah likey :)
I am now P90X-ing, writing for the family gallery, facebooking, will shortly be cruising and am now blogging.
